Bridge
Seamlessly Connecting and Transforming Data
A Bridge is your go-to mechanism for effortlessly accepting data in various structures. It's a powerful tool that comprises Bridge Blocks designed to transform data. Currently, Bridges accept data in the JSON and XML formats.
You can initiate a Bridge operation in multiple ways:
- Push Event: Seamlessly integrate data from external systems by initiating a Bridge event through a push mechanism. This enables smooth data flow from third-party sources directly into the system, ensuring timely updates and efficient synchronisation.
- Automated Scheduling: Bridges can also be set to run automatically on a predefined schedule for data hosted remotely via a URL. This feature simplifies data synchronisation.
- Manual Execution: Through the intuitive Dashboard UI, you can manually trigger a Bridge event. This allows provide data either by uploading a file or a remote URL, providing you with full control over the process.
Each time a Bridge executes, it leaves a footprint—a Bridge Event. These events encapsulate all the vital information related to the execution, including the time of execution, which items were created and updated, any encountered errors (with specific error descriptions), and a breakdown of affected items.
In summary, Bridges serve as dynamic connectors that effortlessly bring data into the ecosystem, no matter its format or source. These Bridges, equipped with transformation capabilities, empower you to mould data to suit your specific needs, enhancing the efficiency and flexibility of your data integration processes.
