Registration
Flexible options
Challenges and Aspirations:
- I’d like to capture some of my users’ information but not scare them off with overwhelming forms to complete
- I’m happy for users to watch all content without me knowing who they are
- I’d like to be able to configure the registration journey myself and experiment with different models, such as when in the journey email address confirmation is sought
- I don’t know which registration option I’d like to go with yet – can I change my mind later?
Our solutions:
With our flexible platform you can choose exactly how you’d like your users to interact with your service. And you can even change your mind at a later date! It all depends on what service you want to offer and how much you need to know about your audience. Registration options:
- Invite only – the consumer needs to be invited to use the service
- Required – the consumer must register to access the service
- Define which optional fields should be part of the registration process (i.e. postcode, gender etc.)
- Required for purchase - the consumer must register to purchase and watch any content
- Define which optional fields should be part of the registration process (i.e. postcode, gender etc.)
- Optional for devices – the consumer can purchase content anonymously using their device in app purchasing (i.e. using their Apple ID on Apple TV) and register later
- Optional – the consumer can watch content without registering and register if they like
- Disabled – the service does not require registration
This fully flexible set up allows you to decide the most sensitive and effective way to go about guiding that all important first consumer journey.
